Violet Pencil Holder

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner
  • Materials Needed:
    • Purple Striped Pom Poms ( #27031-29)
    • Dark Green Chenille Stems ( #3225-56)
    • Green Foam Sheet ( #15200-41)
    • Crafty Glue ( #9145) or low-temp. glue gun
    • Cleaned aluminum or tin can
    • Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. VIOLETS: Glue three small striped poms together with a small solid-colored pom (.25 in.) in the center, as pictured. Make four.
  2. LEAVES: Cut two chenille stems in half. Bend to make leaves as shown, then glue each to bottom of violets.
  3. STEMS: Cut two chenille stems in half. Glue to can vertically. Glue violets & leaves to tops of chenille stems.
  4. CAN: As sizes of cans vary, cut a piece of green foam from foam sheet to cover can. Then glue foam piece to can, trimming off excess foam. Decorate with remaining poms and chenille!
