Wizard Wand

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner
  • Materials Needed:
    • Various colors of foam sheets ( #1528-01 or #1528-59)
    • Tinsel Chenille ( #3250-59)
    • Crafty Glue ( #9145) or low-temp. glue gun
    • Adhesive Gemstones ( #2297-01)
    • Scissors
    • Straws
    • (Optional) Feather ( #2884-01 or  #3250-59) or other magical object

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Print and cut star shape template. Use it to trace and cut out two star shapes from desired color of foam.
  2. Cut four tinsel stems in half.
  3. Glue straw and tinsel stems to one star, then glue and sandwich with other star.
  4. Curl tinsel stems by wrapping around your finger (or a marker or a pen).
  5. Decorate star with adhesive gemstones.
  6. (Optional) Insert feather or other magical object into your straw wand for extra magic, like in the popular children's fantasy series!
