Mini Foam Furniture - Dining Room

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner
  • Materials Needed:
    • Brown Foam Sheet ( #15200-50)
    • Tan Pom Poms ( #1572-49)
    • Pencil
    • Very Fine black permanent marker
    • Scissors and/or craft knife
    • Crafty Glue ( #9145) or low-temp. glue gun

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. using patterns, trace and cut out all shapes. (Note: Cut out 2 table top shapes. Cut out china cabinet first before cutting out “windows.” Windows best done with a craft knife, if you choose to do this, get an adult to supervise.
  2. CHINA CABINET:

    • Glue sides to cabinet back.
    • Glue shelf into middle of cabinet. Trim sides and front of shelf if needed.
    • Glue on top of cabinet.
    • Draw drawers on cabinet front as shown on pattern, then glue poms on for handles.
    • Glue cabinet front to rest of cabinet.
  3. TABLE:

    • Glue the two identical table top pieces together.
    • Glue the 2 short side leg pieces to one long leg piece, allow glue to set. Glue on the remaining long leg piece.
    • Carefully glue table top to legs.
