3-D Christmas Cards

INSTRUCTIONS

1. For all cards, cut paper to desired size and fold in half.
2. CHRISTMAS TREE CARD
   
   1. Bend green chenille stem into an isosceles triangle (Christmas tree shape). Twist ends together and glue to front of card.
   2. Bend a small piece of brown chenille into zigzags to form trunk. Glue to card.
   3. Glue one 1/2-inch yellow pompon to card at top of tree for star.
   4. Cut paper out of center of tree, if desired.
   5. Finish by trimming edges with the aid of a green marker and a ruler.
3. CANDY CANE CARD
   
   1. Twist one red and one white chenille stem around one another, as shown, making sure the ends are tight, and glue to card.
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
   2. Finish by trimming edges with the aid of a red marker and a ruler.
4. STOCKING CARD
   
   1. Bend one red chenille stem into a stocking and twist ends together.
   2. Take a white chenille stem and wrap it around the top of the stocking to make the “fur” trim.
   3. Glue stocking to card.
   4. Cut paper out of center of stocking, if desired.
   5. Scallop the edges of the card with fancy-edged scissors, if desired.
   6. Finish by trimming edges with the aid of a red marker and a ruler.
5. JOY CARD
   
   1. Bend one red chenille stem to spell “joy” in cursive letters. Glue to card.
   2. Dot “j” using a 1/2-inch red pompon.
   3. Finish by trimming edges with the aid of a red marker and a ruler.
