INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bundle the sticks with gold florist wire by wrapping wire around the entire bundle and twisting to secure wire ends. Snip wire ends with wire cutters and tuck into sticks to disguise.

  2. Place broom above wreaths. Position the 4 wreaths and twig bundle under broom as shown in Fig. 1 above. Attach the wreaths together (that form the word Boo) by using the gold florist wire to secure the wreaths to one another by repeating the above process (Fig. 2).

  3. Once the wreaths have been attached together, attach the “BOO” to the broom with the ribbon. Cut approximately three 10 inch strips of Halloween ribbon. Wrap one strip of ribbon around the first letter at the top of the wreath and around the broom securing at the top of the broom. Secure both ends of the ribbon by placing a corsage pin through the ribbon and into the broom handle. See Fig. 3 below. Continue process with the remaining strips of ribbon.

  4. Decorate the wreaths and broom handle with ornamental figurines using hot glue to secure to wreaths and broom handle. Also place silk flowers or leaves by sinking stems into wreath at an angle and using hot glue.
  5. SPIDER WEB: knot black string to the wreath and stretch to the opposite side. Continue stretching string across wreath until you have a star shape made of string (Fig. 4). Then knot the string to the other string inside the star form to make the web (Fig. 5). Hot glue a spider to the wreath or web.
