Surfer Doll

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner
  • Materials Needed:
    • Classic Male Doll ( #3183-03)
    • Foam Sheet ( #15200)
    • 6 in. x 14 in. Flowered fabric
    • 5.5 in. Elastic (1/8 in. wide)
    • 4 in. x 13 in. Terry cloth for towel
    • Needle and thread
    • 1 Safety pin
    • Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Use the patterns to cut out short pieces. Sew the front and back seams together. Sew leg seam together.
  2. Turn waist edge in and create casing for elastic, stitch. Turn each leg edge under and hem.
  3. Thread elastic through casing using a safety pin. Stitch edges together.
  4. Use surfboard pattern to trace and cut out foam surfboard shape. Write message on surfboard if desired.
  5. Wrap towel around neck and tuck surfboard under arm.
