INSTRUCTIONS

1. DRESS: “V” Neck: Fold 8 in. x 10.5 in. knit fabric rectangle in half lengthwise, cut out a 1/2-in. “V” shape (on fold) for center front.
2. FLOUNCE (ruffle around bottom of dress): Fold tulle strip in half lengthwise. Sew a gathering stitch (through both layers) close to fold. Pull thread so flounce measures 8 in. Working with right sides up, lay bottom edge of dress over gathering stitch; pin in place (Fig 1).

















3. ASSEMBLE DRESS: Glue or stitch dress to flounce. Glue one 8-in. row of strung sequins above flounce and another row 1/2 in. above the first.
4. SHOULDER STRAPS: Center 8 in. sequin strip at V-neckline and glue to edge. Cut two 1/4 in. x 1/2 in. pieces of hook tape. Glue to top of strap ends. (Hook tape will “hook” the polyester fabric when strap ends are tucked under back of dress.)
5. BACK SEAM: Sew or glue seam together, using 1/2 in. seam allowance.
6. CAPE: Glue marabou feathers around top side of circle’s edge. Repeat on bottom side. Measure in 8 in. from one edge of circle and fold at that point (Fig. 2). On larger side of fold (Fig. 3), measure and mark 6 in. from each edge. Make 1-in. vertical slits 1 in. below fold on each side. Use a needle and thread to sew a gathering stitch along the fold line from slit to slit. Pull the thread so that slits are about 4 1/2 in. apart. Secure with knots.


























7. EARRINGS: Remove 2 sequins from strand. Glue into earlobes with Gem Tack™ glue.
8. SHOES: Coat shoes with glitter glue.
9. HAIR: Use rubber band to make a ponytail. Wrap remaining strung sequins around the ponytail and glue.
