Christmas Angel

- Heavenly Angels™ Porcelain Head and Hands

#9301) - Heavenly Angels™ Wings (4-8 in. wide)

#9327) - 1 Chenille Stem (
#3225-59) - Cone (12-in. tall) (
#9342) - 3/4 yd. fabric
- 1 yd. ribbon (1/4-in. to 1/2-in.-wide)
- 2.5 yd. lace or trim
- Fabric glue or low temp glue gun
- 3 in. gold or silver cord for halo (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
- DRESS: Fold 26 in. x 26 in. fabric as shown (fig. 1). (Note: if using sheer fabric overlay, treat sheer and lining as one).
- Cut a 26 in. diameter circle from fabric. Cut a 1.5 in. diameter circle from center (fig. 2).
- Glue trim completely around outer edge of large circle (fig. 3). (If using trim that is 1 in. or wider, glue it farther from the edge and finish fabric with pinking shears or an anti-fray product).
- Fold large circle in half (fig. 4). Glue inside edges of fabric together ONLY in areas indicated (fig. 4).
- MAKE AND DRESS DOLL: Center chenille stem inside angel breast plate; glue (fig. 5).
- Insert chenille stem into arms and glue (fig. 6). Insert cone into breast plate and glue at neck (fig.6).
- Slip fabric over angel head; thread arms through armholes and arrange on shoulders (fig. 7). Glue dress to shoulders and wrists (fig. 8). Glue trim around neckline to secure fabric to breast plate and cover raw edges (fig. 7).
- BELT: Cut 2 tiny holes (x) below breast plate on each side of front layer of fabric (fig. 8). Thread ribbon through one side, around back of cone and out hole on other side (fig. 9). Tie bow below breast plate.
- FINISH: Position wings as desired and glue to back (fig. 10). Pose hands as desired.
- OPTIONAL HALO: Make loop out of gold or silver cord, glue ends to back of head.
