Shape and center each teardrop. Stitch down to rose pink portion of skirt with yarn needle.

NECKLINE
Cut a 60-in. piece of Country Rose. Break down to 2 strands of 2-ply. Use one strand for neckline, set other aside.
Using 2-ply strand and size F hook, with front of dress facing you, join to turning ch 1 of first row, ch 1, sl st in first 7 chs, sk next ch, si sl st right BELOW skipped ch in 2nd dc of 3 dc group, sl st in last 7 chs (15 sl sts). Ch 1, turn. Ch into 2nd st. Ch into all remaining sts. Finish off.

BACK OPENING TRIM (working on sides of Rows 1 - 17)
RIGHT SIDE: Using Rose Pink and size G hook, back, right side facing, join to last ch of neckline, ch 2, work 16 sl sts, evenly spaced, on sides of Rows 1 - 17, with last 3 sl sts on sides of Rows 15, 16 and 17 (waistline). Finish off.
LEFT SIDE: Working on sides of Rows 17 - 1, back, left side facing, bottom of dress facing to the right, join to side of sl st on Row 17, ch 1, work 16 sl sts, evenly spaced, on Rows 16 - 1, with first 3 sl sts on sides of Rows 16 & 15 (waistline). Finish off.

Using one 2-ply strand (that was set aside) of Country Rose, cut in half (use half for this sleeve & half for left sleeve) and size F hook, join to turning ch—1 on Row 17, ch 1,
ROW 18: Sl st in first 3 sc, (sl st, sc, sl st) in next dc, sl st in last 3 sc (9 sts). Finish off.

LEFT SLEEVE
Front facing, working on left armhole, join Rose Pink to ch 1 at underarm, ch 1, work Rnds/Rows 1 — 18 same as for right sleeve.


FINISHING

Place dress on doll. Using Rose Pink and yarn needle, stitch sleeves, on right and left arm, closed. Straighten sleeve out, so point of sleeve is centered on top of hand.
To make dress removable: Sew hooks and loops on left & right edges of sleeves so sleeve edges meet.
Using a 30-in. piece of ribbon and size F hook, holding doll with back facing, weave through Rows 1 — 17, about 3 sts in, on each side. Starting on Row 2, weave each end, one on left side and one on right side, from top to under, criss-cross, going under to top on Row 5, criss-cross, going under to top on Row 8, criss-cross, going under to top on Row 11, criss-cross, going under to top on Row 14, criss-cross, going under to top on Row 17. Pull semi-snug. Tie together into bow. Trim off excess. Straighten out dress.

TRIM FINISHING
1 (Skirt Trim): Starting in the center back, turn under the center back raw edge of the pre-gathered 2-in.-wide lace. Lay the lace under the right side of the skirt, so the lace extends beyond the edge of the skirt _”. Pin in place. Hand stitch.
2: Cut the 3/8” wide green ribbon into seven 5-in. pieces. Fold each piece into a bow as shown in photo and center a ribbon rose on the bow. Pin and hand stitch in place on the center of each of the large circles on the lower skirt.
3 (Neck Trim): Lay 5” piece of _” lace under neckline of doll, with 3/8” lace showing. Pin and hand stitch in place. Sew one ribbon rose to center front neck of dress, just below first Country Rose row. (Note: It is easier to attach lace to neck before dressing doll)
4 (Sleeves): Sew 5 buttons down the seam of each sleeve.
